Ochsner Stennis Hospital Non-Discrimination Policy

In accordance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and its implementing regulation, Ochsner Stennis Hospital will, directly or through contractual or other arrangements, admit and treat all persons without regard to race, color or national origin in its provision of services and benefits, including assignments or transfers within the facility and referrals to or from the facility. Staff privileges are granted without regard to race, color or national origin (where appropriate). 

In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and its implementing regulation, Ochsner Stennis Hospital, directly or through contractual or other arrangement will not discriminate on the bases of handicap in admission, access, treatment or employment.

In accordance with the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and its implementing regulation, Ochsner Stennis Hospital will not, directly or through contractual or other arrangements, discriminate on the basis of age in the provision of services, unless age is a factor necessary to the normal operation of the achievement of any statutory objectives.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and its implementing regulation, Ochsner Stennis Hospital will not, directly or through contractual or other arrangements, discriminate on the basis of disabilities in the provision of services or in employment.
