Our goal at Outreach Laboratory is to provide quality service that is accurate, timely, and cost effective to our providers, patients, and community across East Mississippi and West Alabama. We assist physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
Outreach Laboratory performs a wide variety of tests in the areas of:
Chemistry – general chemistry, liver function, immunology, therapeutic drug monitoring, body fluid analysis.
Hematology/Coagulation – routine and special hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation.
Transfusion Services – blood typing, antibody identification and preparation of blood and blood components.
Microbiology – bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology, parasitology, serology, molecular testing.
Pathology – histology and cytology of blood, tissues, organs, body fluids.
Outpatient collection services available. Please bring photo ID, insurance information, and physician orders are required. Orders may be faxed to 601-703-1333. Advance scheduling may be required for certain tests.
Outreach Laboratory services hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home health and hospice care providers, local employers, and independent physician practices.
