Meridian, MS – Rush Health Systems is pleased to announce Stephen Chow, MD is joining Craig Dungan, MD; Eddie C. Starnes, MD; Ashley L. Blass, APRN, FNP-C; Terry Redmond, FNP-C; and the staff of the Rush Gastrointestinal Laboratory (GI Lab). He is now accepting patients at the Rush GI Lab located on the first floor of the Rush Ambulatory Care Center in Meridian.
Dr. Chow earned his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Digestive Diseases at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
“We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Chow to our team,” said Dr. Fred Duggan, Chief Medical Officer for Rush Health Systems. “Dr. Chow will be a tremendous asset to our growing medical staff. His dedication to patient-centered care will further enable us to deliver high quality GI services to patients in our community.”
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Chow provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for digestive disorders, including ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), colon cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. Diagnostic services performed by Dr. Chow at the Rush GI Lab include: colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, video capsule endoscopy, hemorrhoid banding and esophageal dilation.
