MERIDIAN, MS - Rush Health Systems is pleased to announce that Jason Farrar, DO is joining Benjamin Rush, DO, Alisha Miller, FNP, Nancy Risher, FNP and the staff of The Vein Center at Rush and will begin seeing patients on the 5th floor of the Rush Professional Office Building located at 1800 12th Street in Meridian.
Dr. Farrar received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree from William Carey University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS through the East Central Health Network residency program. Dr. Farrar is board eligible for Family Medicine (AOBFP) and Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABLVM). A native of Meridian and graduate of Lamar High School, Dr. Farrar is very active in the community and resides in Meridian with his wife and four children.
The Vein Center at Rush offers assessment, treatment and follow-up for varicose and spider veins, blood cloths, lymphedema, edema, pain, restlessness, discoloration and non-healing wounds of the leg. In addition, The Vein Center also offers the following services: laser and radiofrequency venous treatment, removal of problematic varicose veins, sclerotherapy and in-office vascular ultrasound.
